They bring the grace of renewal, the embrace of inclusion, and the courage to give of oneself.”

Meetings in 2023
Happy New Year! There will be NO MEETING IN JANUARY. Our next meeting will be the second Tuesday in February. I know many, including myself, do not like driving at night, therefore, please let me know if you prefer afternoon or evening meetings. Or should we alternate every other month? Your opinion would be appreciated.

My CWL association has been long and my experiences with the League have taught me a great deal, from being Council President, Diocesan Executive member for eight years, Provincial Committee member, to co-convening a Provincial and a National Convention, with the late Sheila Howard.
I pray that Holy Family Council will continue to reach out to all women of our parish, that they might enjoy the experience of belonging to a Nation wide Catholic women’s organization, for the good of God and Country.

League Prayer
We humbly pray You,
O God our Father, to bless
The Catholic Women’s League of Canada.
Bless our beloved country,
our homes and families.
Send Your Holy Spirit upon us
to give light to our minds
and strength to our wills
that we may know and fulfil
Your great law of charity.
Teach us to share with others
at home and abroad,
the good things You have given us.
This we ask through our Lord Jesus Christ
and the intercession of our patroness,
Our Lady of Good Counsel.
Amen
